Seeded Card Planting Instructions

Planting our seeded card really is simple!

​

You will need:

- A seed tray or container

- All purpose compost or peat free compost if available

- A spray bottle (optional)

Instructions:

Step 1 - Soak the card for a few minutes.

​

Step 2 - Half fill the container with compost and place the card on top

​

Step 3 - Cover with a thin layer of compost.

​

Step 4 - Using the spray bottle moisten the compost.

​

Step 5 - Place the tray in a warm sunny position.

​

Step 6 - Spray the compost several times a day.

*Try to make sure the card stays moist but isn't over-watered.

Step 7 -Wait for the seeds to germinate.

​

Step 8 - When the seedlings are big enough to handle, transfer them to a larger pot or into the garden.

​

TIP - If planting outside we recommend planting in Autumn or early spring for growth in the spring.

Please note - seeds are a natural thing that we cannot control. Therefore we cannot 'guarantee' that every seed will germinate. The purpose of our seeded cards is to provide a thoughtful gift, that brings enjoyment, no waste, recycles old waste and gives back to the planet :)
